One strange thing while towing... As I reversed the boat on the trailer down the ramp, I went quite slowly. The car kept beeping that I was going to hit something which I assume was just the sensors reading the trailer. However, as I got slower, it kept jumping into park and stopping...

I just used the trailer for the first time. I towed a 2700 lb water ski boat for 100 km. I kept the speed at about 90km/hr and used about 370 Wh/km instead of the usual 200 Wh/km.

We looked at it for our house but in Ontario it didn't work for us. We already have 21 solar panels through the micro FIT program. I think we are on the second iteration of this program and we get paid 54.9 cents/kWh which means that selling the electricity back to the grid is is much better...

I was there last summer and there were two chargers. Worked fine for me.

Speculation: I have heard that supercharging V3 is coming eventually. Does anyone think the 100 KWh batteries will be compatible?

My experience after 110 000 km on an early S85 is to get about 10% better than rated in warm weather and about 10% worse than rated in the cold (depending on how cold). Of course, there are a million factors that can affect range. Hopefully it will be the same when my X 100D arrives.

After 108 000 km, battery pack "A", I have gone from 425 to 410 on full charge. Almost of the loss was in the first 12 months. This is a 3.5% change. I'm impressed. I think the battery will last forever.

My A pack will charge at close to 90 with the fan on.

I don't understand. Why all this money for a miscellaneous group of programs which may or may not be effective. Why not a revenue neutral significant carbon tax and let the market find the most efficient way decarbonize?

I hate all gas cars and never enjoyed buying a car. Prior to the S I had a Prius. I am willing to pay extra to drive an electric car and I'm willing to pay a lot extra to buy a Tesla. But even that has its limits. For me, the Canadian price is just too high to rationalize. And I've been trying.
