2020 M3 LR is very soon out of full warranty. Should I keep it?

Just passed 146k on a 2018 LR M3. Basic warranty ended in like 2.5 years 'cause I reached 80k. Rear motor busted at around 90k . Everything fixed under the battery and drive unit warranty (LR/Performance is 8 years or 192k, SR is 8 years or 160k) 😅. Hadn't had to fix anything else out...

    Canada - FSD rollout

Got the notification about an hour ago. Downloading now. 2018 Model 3 LR RWD. BC. 99 (98.91) at 2467km. Think I'll go into the office tomorrow instead of working from home. 😁

    Lost FSD earlier this week

Also lost all FSD features. Tried holding the 2 scrollwheels, holding the 2 scrollwheels with brake, turning off from menu, and OTA software update. FSD not back. FSD never disappeared from my account, but I saved out the invoice just in case. Made an appointment with Tesla (have some other...

    HOV OK Decal - BC

I think it's already been answered in this forum, but I did get a reply from Burnaby Traffic Department (kudos to them for their quick response). EVs are allowed on Barnett and Willingdon (Hastings) HOV lanes. They recently updated the signage as well on those roads/highways.

    HOV OK Decal - BC

That's a good question. I've always assumed we could and have been doing so for the last 4 years with no issues, but I've never seen Police do a HOV check on Hastings or Barnett. I sent an email to the City of Burnaby; not expecting to get a response, but if I do, I'll post it here. I think...

Any tracks in BC where you can take your Tesla on for fun?

Just attended a Mazda event where they set up a short track at the Pitt Meadows airport for people to try out their new cars (gotta admit, really enjoyed the engine growl when driving the MX-5); was hoping to see if I could "compare" my car to the Mazdas on the track, but it was way busier that...

Federal EV coming this budget 2019

Oh that sucks. I'm actually considering the $44,999 "crippled" version. That's like $35k (BC) before delivery and taxes. I'm driving a Model 3 LR RWD so this would be for my wife. She drives less than 30km a day (and never uses autopilot; doesn't trust it) so it'd be good for a week...

Friend ordered one and his rep said he would be getting both the federal and BC provincial rebate... $10k.

So many mixed answers - Electrical requirements for installation

Was also quoted about $3000 to install a 200A panel (current panel won't cut it). My dryer is just on the other side of my garage so I purchased a Y-adapter (14-30P to 14-30R) and the Tesla 14-30 adapter for the Tesla mobile connector. When I charge, I have to leave the door slightly ajar and...
