Good stuff. I went with the 295s to avoid any stretching or fitment issues. They clear well. Enjoy your ride!

    MYLR rotor rubbing sound

This was with my Tesla rims a day after pick up. May have been an errant pebble. Never heard it again since taking those wheels off, and never regretted the decision.

You can get as much - or more - tire by going to a wider 18 tire with a higher side profile. More comfort with little compromise on handling or stability. Think about where you do most of your miles - not necessarily where Road and Track do test laps. I run 295 45 18 tires on 18"X10.5" forged...

Debating the switch to 18 inch wheels from the 20 inch inductions

Negligible improvement to range, but comfortable ride. Great off the line. Handling with any non- comfort steering setting is great.

    18" wheel on model Y

Unless you track your vehicle or have a commute on the Pacific Highway...1) lower unsprung weight for improved acceleration and efficiency; 2) lower tire cost with arguably more tire options 3) a higher sidewall for a more comfortable ride, less rim damage from potholes or curbs; and 4) for...

Love my 18" set up. Just love it.
