Had pick up confirmed last night for Feb 24th Newcastle Orion Business Park. Very happy with that as it ties in with family event and holiday in Scotland and I’m not bothered about the 22 plate. Blue black Gemini. Ordered within a few minutes of receiving the email 15th Oct.

I ordered my Model Y on day 1 (15 October 2021), standard apart from blue paint, cash purchase, no complications of trade-in or finance. Heard nothing other than the 'prepare for delivery' all buyers got nearly three weeks ago. It's a lottery not an orderly queue and to some degree a postcode...

Agree with both of you - I rang today referencing this forum thread where lots of people had Feb deliveries they didn't want (waiting for a 22 plate) and lots of people heading for March who would be keen to swap. He didn't seem that interested. I'm also blue paint black interior and 19" wheels...

I had this question with my Model S and LV at least were happy that the Tesla tracker met their standard. I presume its the same with other Teslas.

Just in case I'm missing something; the advantage of 20" induction over 19" Gemini is aesthetic but the advantage of the Gemini is cost, range and ride quality?

Does anyone know what 'profile submission' means and how it affects delivery timeframe? Also it would be nice to think I'll actually be paying the same amount in dollars!

Me too. I want mine asap and a lot of those Feb deliveries are to people who want March for the 22 plate. I'm ringing Tesla first thing tomorrow to see if I can get an earlier delivery currently allocated to someone who wants March. Tesla seem to be focussing early deliveries around the south of...

I've put the question to Tesla generically so if they come back to me open to the suggestion we can maybe share RNs (and your VIN) privately somehow and get back to them. But I'm not even sure I'm going to get a March registration - worst case is it will be late Feb which will suit neither of us!

I ordered blue (with standard black trim, standard wheels and EAP) on the first day so it does seem random. If you wanted a March plate I'd be happy to go to Bristol (my brother lives near there)and take your reservation but there doesn't seem a way to do that through Tesla.

Stay in we might yet be able to swap. All I want is asap delivery having ordered within 20 minutes and all I see is asap deliveries being granted to people ordering much later who reasonably reject in favour of March. Atrocious allocation methodology Tesla. Still waiting to hear from them...

I’ll take it - planning a trip to the Western Isles straight after delivery. But - as I keep saying - I’m nowhere, 20 minutes after receiving the email and inclined to go VW now.
