Autopilot glitch
Sorry. I should have listed firmware and such. It's autopilot 2. Firmware version 2017.34 2448cfc I never noticed this behavior before that firmware version, but I'm not certain it wasn't happening earlier. I can certainly set the speed higher and the cruise control will work just fine, but...- MalcolmS

Autopilot glitch
Is this a known bug? My regular commute to work takes me along a 25 mph side street then I turn onto a local highway where the speed limit is 40 mph and changes to 50 mph within a few hundred feet. Often the car fails to recognize the changed speed limits. By 'often' I mean not always but half...- MalcolmS

Kayak on roof rack Whispbar
Just wondering how this worked out. Did you end up carrying your kayak(s) without a front tie-down? Would you do it again or was it a bad idea? Have you found a better solution? I'm planning a trip that will involve two touring kayaks on the roof rack but it's still not clear to me what to do...- MalcolmS

Transporting a Kayak on Model S
Just wondering if there are more thoughts and observations regarding transporting kayaks on the roof of a model S. I want to transport two touring kayaks. I've always used bow and stern tie downs in the past. Makes me nervous to leave those off.
