    Insurance Company ‘By Miles’

I have noticed a new Insurance Company in UK designed for connected cars such as Tesla. The premium is directly linked to the miles driven, which for Teslas is automatically collected. It seems like a good deal for low mileage drivers, as it quoted me a price £200 less than my Direct line...

Ionity Charger Sites in UK [megathread]

As the expansion of Supercharger sites in the UK seems to be slowing down, it is good news to see Ionity is gettting into its stride in UK. Looking at their website they are currently building six new rapid charger sites to complement the three already operational at Maidstone, Milton Keynes and...

    Aero Wheels

They came from the states. The white wraps were from Amazon.com, and the black wraps from ebay. There are tons of utube videos showing how to apply them. Pretty straightforward.

Supercharger Charging Rate on Model 3 ?

Thanks for the replies. As I said, I usually charge at home, and this was an experiment to test out Supercharging on my car, which is why battery charge was not very low. I had just met a friend in a pub in Bracknell for lunch ‘ The peacock farm ‘ , and decided to try out Wokingham Superchargers...

Supercharger Charging Rate on Model 3 ?

I usually charge my Model 3 at home on Tesla wall charger, but today I charged it on a Supercharger for the 1st time to check out that it would charge ok. I used the new Superchargers at Wokingham, sixteen bays, and I was the only one there ! The charging went without a hitch but I was surprised...

    UK Owners with v10?

One reason why we have not got smart summon in UK and Europe I believe, is due to regulations on operation. In US Summons operates over wi-fi. Here it operates by Bluetooth which is active over shorter distance.

    Tesla Model 3 Navigation

Another disappointment is that I have heard we are unlikely to get the Enhanced Summons capability in Europe. In US communication between phone and car is by wireless, so can work over long distance. The EU insists on communication by bluetooth, which only operates over short distances. Maybe...

    Tesla Model 3 Navigation

I have a blue standard plus model. Further to my earlier post. I also had an alarming experience using the latest Navigate on Autopilot software on the M25. On autopilot I decided to activate lane change by indicating right, with no car behind in the right hand lane. The car started to do the...

    Tesla Model 3 Navigation

Just completed a trip in my 3 week old model 3 with latest software/hardware including FSD, on a crowded M25. I was disappointed to note the car did not pick up any of the variable speed limits on the overhead gantries. So much for latest navigation software. My old Model S with AP1 had no...

DIY Power Lift gate for Tesla Model S Walkthrough Video

I have a COzero power liftgate and my car has just had software update 2018.14.2. The boot opens and closes successfully from my phone every other time. Between each successful open and close there is a sequence where it only opens and closes a few inches !
