    Standard Range Plus Supercharging Speed

I thought the same, that tesla's release notes did not repeat already deployed updates. However, my car went (yesterday) straight from 2019.12.2 to 2019.36.2.1 and there was no mention of 170kW peak. I'm guessing they pulled it back, temporarily due to the fact that my car never displayed a...

    POLL: SR/SR+ supercharging speed expectations

Hey, AFAIK Kona and Niro support only CCS V1, which is limited to 200A, meaning both of them can achieve around 75kW peak charging power. However, Model3 SR+ can now reach 170kW peak power. The difference is almost 100kW in tesla's favour.

    POLL: SR/SR+ supercharging speed expectations

Hey, can you provide some math ? I love your posts, which are always tech supported. I was doing some calculations few days back, let me rephrase: 1. 250kW peak power from LR with 80.5kWh battery means 3.1C (250/80,5=3.1 if using decimal cutting, not rounding) 2. thus, using 54.75kWh brutto...

Tesla is breaking EU law for "other Europe" sales

What some are misinterpreting here is, that Tesla has always allowed a customer from whole EU to purchase a car (S or X), even if from countries where they were not present - which is more than 10 countries. It is then responsibility of new owner to deliver the car to nearest service center...

Tesla is breaking EU law for "other Europe" sales

Greetings Husky. Service Center is closer for us that for many americans. It is a very small country, total population is less than a district of some bigger city. We do have 3 superchargers that completely cover the country. However, one usually needs a SC when travelling and all neighbouring...

Tesla is breaking EU law for "other Europe" sales

Hey Renato. You're so right. I have expressed that and pointed out that exact EU regulation 2018/302 of the European Parliament (with direct links) to one of the store managers in Tesla Austria few weeks ago. Since then, I have yet to hear from them.

    150kW Supercharging for Model 3

Any SR+ owners yet on 2019.12.1.1 or 2019.12.1.2 that used ORBW before supercharging ? Wondering if there are any changes regard to 102kW cap on V2 SC.

    150kW Supercharging for Model 3

Not necessary, there were I-Pace customers who have driven 200+ km on highway (but with mild driving speeds) and got very bad speeds. However, Model3 uses even less cobalt within its battery, hence even higher temperature relation when charging at high speeds. You really have to Drive the car...

    Model 3 Standard PLUS - supercharging speed/curve

I agree. It would be very very handy to simply show another icon next to battery percentage one. That one would indicate battery temp as bar-icon and be colored apropriately (blue, black, red). In the middle, there'd me max kW that car can accept. Upon plugging into supercharger, notification...

    Model 3 Standard PLUS - supercharging speed/curve

There have been several videos already of new happy owners receiving their M3 SR+. We know for a fact (from this forum), that M3 MR can actually utilize current v2 supercharger and receive speeds up to ~120kW until ~50% SoC, then tapering starts to hit in, obviously. Everything identicall as M3...
