Just looked into it, and turns out that you have to keep the car for a minimum of 30 months. I assume then that the new owner could take advantage of the $2,500 rebate.
I'm thinking Model S may have been a more suitable choice for what I need - only if it's feasible to swap them at this point. Let me know what you're willing to spend.
