‘24 model 3 on the latest software for the car and phone and never received a prompt to upgrade. With that said, I haven’t had a single issue with my phone not opening the doors. I wonder if on the ‘24 model 3 it just worked from the start since it never really had the “old version”.
I had the Samsung T7 and it overheated and leaked white power all over the center console, just using the Tesla USB now. Neither have give me issues, just had a bad experience with the Samsung after ~2 years.
The used market has definitely cooled down, but man $27K seems low. I just checked with vroom on my 2020 SR+ with 40K miles and they offered $30, 909. During the peak of the used car boom they were offering $42K.
That is what I am thinking, but looking online it doesn't seem my situation is uncommon. It also seems like a nightmare return/replacement process, so I just chalk it up to a bad experience.
because I have a mini, it actually hits the MagSafe and sticks without moving. The charger just flat out sucks. I even tried a 3D printed booster that I use with the stock Tesla charger, and it doesn't work on the left side.
I am just trashing the device. I'll deal with more of a headache...
The slightest bit of research would have let you to this conclusion. The single biggest benefit of FSD is lane changes while using AP. That is also available with EAP, but again not worth the cost to most.
Have an iPhone 12 mini, and it only charges on the left side if I first have it charging on the right side. The weird part is the charging icon comes on, on my phone, but it doesn't actually add any charge to the phone, even after 30 minutes.
