in the same spirit, you really don't need auto pilot, you need to drive better. you don't need falcon wing doors, you can just bend over a bit more, you don't need 2.5s 0-60mph, just wait a little.

You are correct sir. Update: Got the car back. The upgrade includes HW3 computer. I think there is confusion about the cameras and that might be what the agent was trying to say. But yeah, with AP2.0 cameras, I am able to see all the rendering of FSD dash, and the car information also...

Model 3 long range now is 44k and performance is 54k. Model Y long range now is 53k and performance is 57k. Model S long range now is 95k and plaid is 115k. Model X long range now is 110k and plaid is 120k. In addition to the $13,000 price drop, the base model Y now qualifies for a $7,500 tax...

They just sent me a message: Only if you have already purchased FSD originally with your vehicle purchase, then YES, we would upgrade the Autopilot Hardware to 3.0 at the same time since it is included with the FSD package, however, since you only have EAP, the AP 3.0 hardware is not included...

even here i got different answers. update: i went to sc talked to the assistant there. she again said no it is only infotainment. Then i showed her the estimation, she is like no. She did say she will talk to her manager to get clarity. still a mess.

Got it. Let me call them tomorrow to confirm. If so i will go ahead with the upgrade. They did offer me some discount due to the emmc recall work. I could elect to do emmc recall for free or take a small discount to do the infotainment upgrade.
