    H&R Adventure Spring Lift anyone?

What do you mean "make it worse"? It's common for people to want to raise or lower their vehicle.

    H&R Adventure Spring Lift anyone?

Anyone got some insight on these? Will raise the Model Y 1.2"; and seems to be a better option than those cheap aluminum spacers https://www.hrsprings.com/application/search/results/55/2464/2020/

Best Tire Options for MYP in 2024?

Suspension is the largest factor, but it's been well documented that thin tires on large wheels make the ride harsher on road imperfections.

Best Tire Options for MYP in 2024?

One thing I didn't like was how punishing the ride was with those thin stretched OEM tires.

Best Tire Options for MYP in 2024?

What about doing 265/35 in the front and 285/35 in the rear?

Best Tire Options for MYP in 2024?

I slightly disagree with you that the wider tires offer no wheel protection. On the OEM tires, even with that "rim lip", the wheels still protruded a few mm past the rubber. The other day, I slightly bumped my rear tire against a curb on a Panera driver-through turn; fortunately it hit the...

Best Tire Options for MYP in 2024?

Like many here, I've moved the 275/35/21 tires in the front and traded in those 255/35/21's for Michelin 295/35/21 Pilot Sport All Season 4 in the rear. While this greatly reduced the potential for curb rash, I don't like the 5 to 8% drop in efficiency, the louder tire noise in the rear (295's...

MYP 295/35/21 and 275/35/21 tire size options and Reduced efficiency?

I can still get 260 to 280 Wh/mi with that setup, but have to drive efficiently. Usually it's closer to 300 Wh/mi though.

Why only 40 miles per hour on Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger for MYP?

That is an interesting idea! I wonder if I changed the tires size to 19" square in the sevice menu, and I'd magically get the 44 mph.

Why only 40 miles per hour on Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger for MYP?

I have two plug in vehicles. I was using a 3rd party charger that was rated at 240/16A for the 14-50R. There was a regional incentive to get reimbursed for the majority of the cost to add a wall charger with the install. Charging the vehicle is nearly 3x as fast now, which I appreciate, but I...

Why only 40 miles per hour on Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger for MYP?

Not range anxiety, just disappointed that I made the investment for the direct wire unit and install, and not getting the advertised rates. Before I was using a NEMA 14-50 outlet at 240/16 amps. I could of easily just purchased the $200 240/40A Tesla portable corded charger and got similar...

Why only 40 miles per hour on Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger for MYP?

The numbers I've monitored on the app were 239 to 240 volts under load and 40 to 41 MPH charging on the MYP. I was hoping to get the constant 44 shown on the chart. The electrician said that this use to be the case, but the software (or design) of the MYP '22-'23 changed somewhere, and now they...

Why only 40 miles per hour on Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger for MYP?

As Tesla advertised, the electrician stated that the regular model Y's get 44 miles range per hour (running at 240V and drawing 48 amps). However, for some reason, his experience is that the Model Y Performance only gets 40 to 41 mph. Why is this the case when the battery packs are basically...

Asheville or Charlotte suspension shop for coilover installation?

It's okay, but if you have the tools, I would just do it yourself and save the money. The Tesla 3/Y is not really hard to take out the shocks and struts.

    Lease question

With the current Tesla leases, do you have the option to buy it at the term end?
