So a Model YLR will be close to $45k with the tax incentive? I paid $15k more for a 3LR in Nov. This is depressing.

10k free charging miles for Nov deliveries would have been nice. I also took delivery in Nov. Didn't even bother asking for the $3750 price adjustment. Heck, even a license plate frame would have been nice.

You have to take delivery before 12/31 so it's only current inventory.

Over 45 Model Ys available today in Northern Cal but limited number of Model 3s. I should have waited another month. Took delivery in Nov since someone totaled my Honda Accord.

My local shop (Northern Cal) did a single sheet ceramic (15%). It took about 3 hours for the rear window. I ended up doing 15% for the rear side and back and 35% for the front side.

Buyers are "locked-in" for the $250 nonrefundable deposit, which they could easily walk away from. I know several people that cancelled their orders. Tesla probably didn't want people to walk away and end up with more inventory. A good move on their part.

Buyers that don't qualify for the tax credit (income limit) would greatly benefit from the current discount instead of waiting for Jan or later delivery.

I don't think Tesla had a choice. People would have cancelled their order and placed a new order to get the discount. When I picked up my LR in mid Nov from Fremont, CA, there were close to 1000 new vehicles sitting on the lot. Wonder how bad the cancellation rate is for them to finally offer...

Great news for people that waited but bad news for everyone that took delivery (like me) in November. Would have been nice if they had offered 50% of the discount to buyers that took delivery in November. I would have gladly waited until Dec since I had a pre-production vehicle which I ended...

For CA drivers out there, are you mounting your front license plates? I see about 80% in my area without front plates. I was planning to follow “the law” but the OEM double sided tape plate holder looks so cheap. The Quick Bandit is nice but not sure if it’s worth the price. Thanks

I had something similar on the base of the rear door. It looked like adhesive but mine was not the same color. I was able to rub most of it off with mild soap.

Unfortunately, I don't know which SC is the best around the Bay Area. Dublin SC is less than 10 mins from me so I am just going to bite the bullet and take my car there.
