That news is about a week old, Germany has started exporting equipment again.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Clearing unexploded ordinance is really a standard thing you do in Europe. It is an expense, but it has to be done and their are a lot of companies that can do this routinely. Clearing unexploded orinance in a forest somewhere in the countryside is a totally different thing from clearing...

Don Searching for unexploded ordinance is standard procedure for any large project in Europe, nothing special about it. They can do the investigations right after clearing the forest. It´s not just aerial bombs by the way, any area with ground combat in WW2 may have UEX.

    Papafox's Daily TSLA Trading Charts

Fearfully I enter the thread of the mighty Papafox with a small comment: It is not necessary for the SP to rise above the mid BB to cause the mid BB to rise (and the upper and lower BBs with it, given constant volatility). What is important is what kind of prices drop out of the period of...

I am referring to the "linear structure". The field between the current factory and the "pumping station" with the Ground Treatment / pile driving clearly is for a structure similar to the almost finished factory.

Might be nothing more spectacular than a drainage channel for all the surface/rain water collecting on the site and the building at the end of the site might be a pumping station to pump the water out into any public drainage System they have. Might make sense to run such a collector for the...

I am very careful engaging one of the big posters here but have to point out: * Autonomy allows 10 M cars to replace 100 M doing the same amount of miles as 100 M (or rather a bit more to drive from pick-up point to pick up point).and using the same amount of fuel (whether electricity or...

One also wants to have these stairways outside the building as emergency exits in case of fire (and firefighter access, too). Probably required by building regulations, including the spacing of such exit structures.

Both the foundations and the increased height of the building in this area fits with this theory. The building may even be a bit higher above the presses - note how the area is currently unroofed and steel columns are heavier.

I saw the SR range model S on the Austrian Tesla web-page yesterday since I have been checking every day for the price increase. Price increase happened today and SR model S went away.

No EU Country can probably match that. Speed of permit is the problem. A factory that size requires an Environmental Impact Assessment, which can take a year.

Ehm - S and X lines are already combined in Fremont. At least they were when I did my factory tour last August.

Hey, some short got his signs wrong and caused a mandatory morning take-off instead of a mandatory morning dip!

Re Glovis Captain: They are doing model S roll-on roll-off without assembly at Tilburg? Interesting. Tilburg assembly is done to avoid EU import tariffs.

As a civil engineer - who admittedly has only looked at the few available fotos and videos - my impression is that they are doing massive ground treatment (gravel piles, maybe a bit of grouting) plus probably drainage works and that´s why the site is muddy. They cannot put up any structures...
