Got the Tesla bug again (sold the M3P last year)... Placed an order for the MYP 3 weeks ago. I've also been changed in the portal to Jan-Mar -- it was Apr-Jun before. Maybe this means our orders are getting clumped together.

It's not a service NSW requirement they are full of it. If you email ServiceNSW ask for confirmation of this and send it to Tesla. This is pretty frustrating for you I can imagine. Tell them you are sending it to the Northern Territory. This is bordering on ridiculous...

Tell them you want to register it in ACT.

We bought a 3 in Sept 2019 and a X middle of last year. If you say you want it unregistered (to register in ACT for example) they will just sell it to you unregistered.

I bought mine unregistered in NSW. I told them I would pay for the rego etc myself. Easy done.

You can always ask them not to do it. It is your car after all.

Got an email from tesla today saying immediate delivery available on a range of M3.

Not even sure how they be a customer as they can't even order them here yet. In any case, being the first adopter for the Model 3 here I certainly hope they have fixed their issues. Was a bit of a hassle. But I imagine now that they are doing high volume deliveries it will be much better.

Tesla can ask for an embargo date on RVCS so in theory it could already be in the system and complied and we would see it on the release date.

Yes you can, but the tyres themselves are summer performance tyres. Would suggest you get winter tyres. Or you could buy 2 more wheels from T-sport line and have a set for winter, and a set for summer :)
