It is now ok. I didn't reboot but went for a short drive and discovered the options had updated. NOA and traffic-light are now enabled.

Thanks for the advice. Since I'm not going anywhere in particular, I can take up your suggestion of waiting for the maps. If not, I'll reboot and report on progress. Mike
