Rather than buying Tesla shares, we are buying into the raw product that they require, mainly lithium. Australia has an abundance of lithium and in only a few weeks shares are performing remarkably well. Lithium Australia (LIT) is a good start. There's a number of companies, many are penny stock.

There was some interesting info above. What I calculate is that there is roughly a Tesla for every 500 people in Norway, based on a population of some 5 1/2 m. Australia has a Tesla for every 17,000+ people if I'm guessing correctly at about 1300 Teslas in the country.

It was on the news on WIN TV, just before Christmas, that SC were planned up to Cairns. Only problem is that no time frame was given. It would take 3 between Brisbane and Cairns.

Powerwall is only compatible with certain inverters. Contact Tesla Energy and they will be able to help you. Switch board may be full but a sparkie can open up another bank of switches.

Someone in the UK, who has reserved a Model ☰, was told by someone at Tesla that a production run of RHD is schedule for the 1st Q of 2018. If it's true, I would hope it would include the orders from Australia and NZ.
