Rather than buying Tesla shares, we are buying into the raw product that they require, mainly lithium. Australia has an abundance of lithium and in only a few weeks shares are performing remarkably well. Lithium Australia (LIT) is a good start. There's a number of companies, many are penny stock.

There was some interesting info above. What I calculate is that there is roughly a Tesla for every 500 people in Norway, based on a population of some 5 1/2 m. Australia has a Tesla for every 17,000+ people if I'm guessing correctly at about 1300 Teslas in the country.

Powerwall is only compatible with certain inverters. Contact Tesla Energy and they will be able to help you. Switch board may be full but a sparkie can open up another bank of switches.

Interesting info. Energex will not allow you to feed 3 phase energy back into the grid. They will allow us our 3 phase for the Powerwall but we must limit of what we return from our solar system back to the grid to a max of 5 kw. We had a bloke from Energex and our sparkie at our house today...

The 10 gauge cable is 10 mm wide. However, we can install two 4 gauge wire joined together and get the same result with up to 50 amp. My sparkie will provide the wiring for free. So we'll do that. After all we are, I would guess, 3 years away.
