Except you still have indicator stalk on left so right hand can be moved to allow you to see it clearly. We cannot do this as your hand must be in the way to use the indicator. Unbelievably poor implementation.

I think they just cut out a section of the foam and repair as per normal tyre. Trouble is they'll probably prefer to sell you a new one so it's a useful way to suggest that has to be done.
