what’s the lead time for a vehicle now? Seems quick..I just got assigned a VIN on an S, but just took delivery of an X. Don’t really need the S right now and would rather wait until a potential battery change (yeah - probably a year or two from now at the least).

Dropped off the baby as soon as I could to this shop. Got matte white wrap with ceramic coating, window tint, and painted calipers + Tesla emblems. It turned out amazing! Waited 1.5 years for this bad boy and now it’s clean! I’d highly recommend getting any wraps/tint done here if you’re in OC...

I'm approaching a month here..something must be wrong with our batch of cars. I think that's why the flyover has so many sitting there.

Same. VIN 12/15 and I’m in southern CA. Nobody knows why it can’t get on a truck to be delivered. They won’t even let me come up to Fremont to pick up delivery. I’m starting to think there are more shortages or problems with these cars..

The delivery team is the one who changes that information or delivery date. Your SA is able to see the stage it’s in if you’ve received a VIN.

Thought getting a VIN was a good thing…been 12 days and Tesla can’t figure out why my car is still in Fremont. It’s been “staging” and they can’t get any other updates. I’ve even offered to fly out to pick it up.. at this rate, they probably won’t even deliver to me this year.

I asked them that too. I said I’m ready to book a flight up there and make the awesome drive home. They wouldn’t let me for some reason.

Nice! I had a scheduled delivery for Sunday in Irvine too, but they called yesterday and said that their system said car was still in Fremont. Hopefully my car was in the same batch as yours and it’s there now for me to pick up.
