Don’t know if this is helpful info for people re: vin. I asked why it’s a 2021 vin and when the car came off the line. SA replied: So typically Tesla creates a certain number of cars each month and ships them out for delivery all at once. December deliveries are a weird mixture of 2021 and 2022...

Weird. So I emailed the SA and sales center yesterday basically like wtf is this push back about. The SA just emailed me "Yes so we did find you a vehicle and matched you to it. It should be arriving early December" How did they magically find a car all of a sudden? Should I be concerned that...

yeah. switched to jan-feb yesterday (from nov-dec). then suddenly got this today. didn't get a notification...just happened to see it when i refreshed my account page

got a vin! new EDD is 12/11-12/15. 2021...but i don't care MF454

are these assembly lines running 24/7? Do VINs pop up over the weekends? I've had a couple of EDD changes on weekend days before but wasn't sure about VINs

also I wonder if this explains the lack of 2022 VINs thus far. it may be based on when the car began the production process?
