Don’t know if this is helpful info for people re: vin. I asked why it’s a 2021 vin and when the car came off the line. SA replied: So typically Tesla creates a certain number of cars each month and ships them out for delivery all at once. December deliveries are a weird mixture of 2021 and 2022...

Weird. So I emailed the SA and sales center yesterday basically like wtf is this push back about. The SA just emailed me "Yes so we did find you a vehicle and matched you to it. It should be arriving early December" How did they magically find a car all of a sudden? Should I be concerned that...

are these assembly lines running 24/7? Do VINs pop up over the weekends? I've had a couple of EDD changes on weekend days before but wasn't sure about VINs

also I wonder if this explains the lack of 2022 VINs thus far. it may be based on when the car began the production process?

I'm 1152. Have had November 10-30 for a couple of weeks now. Hoping the stability of those dates doesn't mean that it's accurate. Though, based on others, I'm guessing that the early part of that range would be a best case scenario

Is there increased hope for a faster timeline for those of us in major cities? I'm in Chicago and they seem to have big deliveries of M3/Y at the dealership near my house so I wonder if being in a seemingly major hub helps
