I agree, I use AP every day to get to work, and to drive between SoCal and Phoenix/Vegas often. Feel more relaxed after a 5hr drive with AP.

AP can be disabled by pressing the Shift lever up.... no need to jerk the wheel... not sure if you were aware of that.

Picked my 3 a couple weeks ago in vegas... even let my 83 yr old mom drive it.... No issues whatsoever. Not as plush as the S but it feels much more sporty. Definitely a great car Already have 2,000 miles on it. .

We've had no issues with the update 17.11.3.... Autosteer to 80mph.... use it every day from Temecula to the 91, works great now have adjustable head rest and lumbar support but still no auto dim headlights or rain-sense wipers (not that we need them much here in SoCal)... Much happier with...

First of all who said anything about getting off on fake noise?... or playing someone else's engine sound and "getting off" on it? My reference was to the sound of his car on the track and my agreement hearing engine noise is not a bad thing....as some people think "ICE" vehicles are bad thing...

Nice.... I guess only true car guys get it... must be able to appreciate both. When I drive my off-road car I refuse to pipe music thru the headsets because I like to hear the exhaust and can detect minor changes in the exhaust note if something is going south...

What about their Lambo line? there's nothing like the sound of a V-10 or V-12 screaming ... for that I will always want to burn some fossils.

Our S updated to 17.5.28 Friday night... increased autosteer to 50mph and TACC up to 80mph... No car images showing up in adjacent lanes just the radar image. Still no mention of the rain sense wipers or auto dim high beams ?? o_O

Nope, not what they advertised.... it would have to apply on some sort of a go forward basis.. but even then, its common to need a charge within 100 miles

The SC "on the way" would be less than 100 miles, and why would I want to pay an inflated rate for that... What does this have to do with my priorities about driving an EV? I just want them to deliver as they advertise.

That is perfect scenario... prior posts were suggesting that you would then should pay large premium (4x) since it is fairly close to the house...

Totally disagree....thats not we all signed up for. May as well stick with my gas vehicle. If you use most of charge and then have to head out of town and need a full charge, that takes 8+ hours at home.... they just need to follow thru with adding SC's in timely fashion. No problem with...
