    2019/20 Raven Long Range Differences?

So, which would you favor buying assuming +/- $2k price & similar condition; both with FSD activated: 42,000 mi/67k km Sept 2019 build 88,000 mi/140k km August 2020 build (frequent, long freeway trips)

    2019/20 Raven Long Range Differences?

Nice sleuthing! These intra-model updates are really difficult to nail down to a cut-in date. It looks like June is the key date. Thanks!

    2019/20 Raven Long Range Differences?

You are right! My bad! It is the 2019/20 differences that I am interested in. Thanks for catching it. Moderator note: Fixed thread title.

    2019/20 Raven Long Range Differences?

That's really helpful, I was unaware of the charge rate change! Would a 2019 with CCS upgrade and adapter plug bring it to the same level of charge rate or was it more than that?

Hi Vcor, I am actually just looking at Raven changes. Cheers.

    2019/20 Raven Long Range Differences?

G'day Brains Trust, I may finally be ready to "upgrade" from my 2015 MS to a newer one, and I am settling in on a Raven Long Range model that captured some good updates such as Adaptive suspension and more efficient, permanent magnet front motor. However, I am finding it a bit confusing to...

Vendor New Refresh Headlights & Taillights for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 | T Sportline x Alpharex collab NOVA Headlights and Pro Series Taillights

As both upgrades are now available (to some) via Evoffer, which is best? The OEM matrix as a retrofit or the Alphas? Has anyone seen them side-by-side, or have a comment? I note that both are being offered in RHD configuration, which TSportline did not offer. I assume this means they have a...

Vendor New Refresh Headlights & Taillights for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 | T Sportline x Alpharex collab NOVA Headlights and Pro Series Taillights

To be clearer, each headlight typically has a built-in "step" and it either steps up on the right or left to suit RHD or LHD (picture shows LHD/USA headlight example demonstrating step and overlap). Then you align that step up with the other side's low step and it in turn steps up again. The...

Vendor New Refresh Headlights & Taillights for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 | T Sportline x Alpharex collab NOVA Headlights and Pro Series Taillights

Thank you! The vendor's claim appears to have been erroneous, as this is a deal-breaker for meeting legal (and practical) requirements on our RHD cars. Perhaps they will come out with an RHD version at some point. Will follow your progress nonetheless.

Vendor New Refresh Headlights & Taillights for Tesla Model S 2012-2020 | T Sportline x Alpharex collab NOVA Headlights and Pro Series Taillights

Thank you for your write-ups and for being so helpful! I live in Australia, and our RHD OEM lights on each side tend to have a step bias going up to the left (to avoid blinding oncoming and illuminating the shoulder better) instead of the step up towards the right-hand side. When I contacted...

Windshield wipers work except when it is raining.

Just checking that you have tried turning off Auto Wipers (Beta) in Controls? I had to resort to this yesterday as, for some reason, the Auto feature has become more flaky than usual and left the windscreen covered with rain without turning on the wipers. So, I have gone into manual mode until...

Headlight ballast: 5 channel or 4 channel

Just wondering if anyone has any information about the difference between a 5-Channel and 4-Channel LDM headlight module? I am looking to replace the unit and bought one labeled for the MX as ”4 Channel”; the one that came with my ‘16 MX I discovered (but only after removing the headlight) is...

    2016 Tesla X headlight delay

Thanks for that feedback. The headlight delay issue I will try to resolve by replacing the igniters. My MS had older SW 2.0 ones that I then upgraded to SW 3.0 versions and that improved their performance. Perhaps the same will happen here. TSC had no information on any changes to the...

    2016 Tesla X headlight delay

Tesla SC has informed me that there is no option to have fog lights installed or activated. They do not know if the units have no fog lights installed, if the wiring is not there or if there is some other reason. They do not know what would happen if fog light-capable units were installed but...

    2016 Tesla X headlight delay

"Bump" and wishing you a wonderful 2024! Can anyone at please confirm if they have or have heard of an MX without operational fog lights? I am currently trying to cross-check with Tesla again after driving in some weather where they would have come in handy. I can only see one part number for...
