Just wondering if anyone has any information about the difference between a 5-Channel and 4-Channel LDM headlight module? I am looking to replace the unit and bought one labeled for the MX as ”4 Channel”; the one that came with my ‘16 MX I discovered (but only after removing the headlight) is labeled “5 Channel”. Both are for SW 3.0. The Tesla parts list does not identify this part separately.
The reason I was going to change out the one I have is to see if it improved the delay on the hi-beam activation. An issue not present on my 2015 MS.
The questions are whether the channel number is significant and if they are they are swappable?
