    Charging Adaptors 101

Thanks for the link! Glad to see its still useful. I do need to update it to cover the removal of the Mobile Connector from new orders, and a couple of other minor things that have changed in the last year or so since I last revised it - but you've inspired me to do that, and to keep paying the...

Supercharger - Brisbane 2 (Toombul), Qld

I wonder why its described on FindUs as Brisbane West. Toombul is very much north-east. Maybe there is one for Indro as well?

The Stealth Hitch is now complied in Australia thanks to TOCA!

It's a cone shape with a cam lock into it, it's *very* sturdy. If you go through the photos at the bottom of my article you can see the mech and the stainless block it goes into.

The Stealth Hitch is now complied in Australia thanks to TOCA!

It's been a long time coming but there is now a fully complied tow bar option for the Model 3 in Australia. TOCA have achieved this compliance on behalf of its members and for the benefit of the Tesla community at large. Anyone is free to import and fit their own bar or buy one from a local...

Model 3 tow package in Australia

I taped over the individual wires and then taped the harness back together. It'll be fine, I used to be an Auto Electrician in a former career :D

Model 3 tow package in Australia

You'd either have to cut the car wire or disassemble the connector to get the heat shrink over the wire. Once you've cut the wire you need to rejoin it making the wire shorter than it was. The wires in most cars are only just as long as they need to be so then you're stretching the wire, or...

Model 3 tow package in Australia

I imported it from Stealth via MyUS. Came to about $1500AUD for all the bits I needed for the complete Tow+Rack package. You'll need to get these locally: trailer parts, boat trailer parts, camper trailer parts, caravan parts, horse trailer parts box trailer parts. Ark Corporation - to protect...

Model 3 tow package in Australia

*waves* thats me. Let me know if you have any questions. The car does have a 3 pin plug ready for the OEM trailer module that supplied a large-ish 12V, earth and CAN bus wire. I used the 12V and earth for the Ark relay box I used. More posts about it: Tesla Model 3 Australia Tesla Model 3...

    I can't locate a very annoying rattle.

I've got a similar noise and eventually traced it to the trunk lid sitting a bit low on the right hand side so the hinge rubs on this adjustment bolt head. You can see the mark in the paint where its been rubbing. I have a service appointment in February to have it sorted. In the meantime I've...

    Navigate On Autopilot in Australia

I think it's worth saying we (new owners) paid for AP. Lately is included in the base package, but to say we didn't pay for it is disingenuous.
