More than one person works at that location. So I would try talking to somebody else. I have had a lot of success calling the main sales number during business hours and talking to whoever answers. They have access to everything and can probably honor your photo request and tell the Delivery...

send them an email with screenshots of us saying our SC agreed to send photos. or have him call KC and ask for Pete Shulte. He has worked there 5 years and knows how it works.

Rejected this today in Kansas City. VIN36k Drove 3.5 hours one way because they wouldn’t send a photo beforehand. Tesla rep said they will have trouble deliverIng the other 7 white MYs with paint issues on their lot unless it’s sunny. He apologized and paid for my rental car both ways...

Very sad to hear this. I think they aren’t supposed to take pictures but I can’t see how they can deny the paint issues. Guy is either lying or sleeping under a rock. Also, he can’t say he hasn’t heard of them now because you just told him. Hopefully yours is perfect.

they paid for my rental both ways but I still drove 7 hours round trip. all they had to do was call me and say “It appears as though your car needs additional time to be ready.” then go repaint it.

I can tell you right now they don’t care if you waste a day to take delivery and reject it. they will just hope you take it.

the rep said they are trying to only deliver white MYs on a sunny day. I counted 7 other White MYs. All with paint mismatch. so basically if you are getting a white MY at Kansas City delivery center it has mismatched paint

there were 7 other white MYs on the lot. The Tesla employee said they are waiting for a sunny day to try to deliver them. every single one had paint mismatch.

Drove 3 hours just to see this. Pathetic. Rejected delivery.

Went to pick up MY today. Rejected. Obviously. Picture attached. Pretty dumb that Tesla can’t paint a car.
