I had the same issue after multiple app updates and car software updates. Started in November 2022. I eventually made a service ticket, and when they looked into it they said it was likely a firmware bug. Here’s what they said:

You’re the first I’m aware of to mention the alarm issue. Not sure about android app background activity, but you could try removing the app or signing out entirely as a temporary test.

I made no restrictions in the tesla app. Settings are in the attached screenshot. Previously I had some success restricting background refresh and calendar access, but I wanted to try the new app version without special settings. I was hoping it would work like it should without any handholding...

This iOS app update fixed it for me. I installed the iOS app 4.13.1 last night and have no more issues. My car has been sleeping for 12 hours, only waking up to do a scheduled charge and then right back to sleep.

I updated the app and I’m testing overnight.

No change for me after the iOS update. I since turned off background refresh and calendar access for the app from the phone. It’s now sleeping longer than usual so far. I will update later on.

I tried disabling logging in Teslafi but no change. I then tried killing the iOS app and turning off Bluetooth, which seems to work, but not always. Regardless I think it’s not Teslafi. There’s another larger thread on this same topic fyi.

Thanks for posting this, I also use Teslafi. I have never had an issue with this until recently. Tonight I tried deep sleep mode to see if that makes a difference. If so, I wonder if there are adjusted sleep settings that will make it work well like it used to.

This is good progress! Thanks for sharing. Does it get resolved with Bluetooth turned back on later, or only while it’s off?

For the record, personally I’m not concerned, and I’m not seeing it as a “problem”, but just an unusual behavior. I don’t have any reason to believe that it is causing any problems to be woken up from sleep. Also, FWIW my car has been sleeping more normally since this afternoon. I haven’t...

The frequent interruptions in sleep that I identified via Teslafi are happening with the latest iOS app (with tire pressure reporting) and car software 2022.24.5. It began when I updated the iOS app, which was after I had updated the car software.

After reading this, I noticed in teslafi that my car is waking up very often (much more than usual by far), beginning right after I updated the iPhone app two days ago.
