Found a small autopilot life hack to up the AP limit by 2 mi/hr

I was messing around with putting km on display just to prank my friends that I was going over 100. I live in the states if you couldn’t tell. But then I realized something: If you set your autopilot to Kilometers, you’ll get more speed than is available for miles. For example, tesla limits...

Hearing super conflicting advice about battery charging levels

Appreciate the advice @AAKEE I’ve been correcting people on the TeslaModel3 subreddit. Everyone there still spouts “charge to 80” and “don’t let it get below 20” Because of you, I’ve been charging to 50% on weekdays. I plug in everyday (I’m not sure if this is best but saw that Tesla...

Cannot for the life of me decide an exterior/interior combination

I already bought the car so we can close this thread lol. Got MSM/Black and I personally much prefer a darker cabin. YMMV

Can’t PPF the whole car, what is the bare minimum to get done?

Not too late since full front included the mirrors and I got that done a month ago! Didn’t do rockers tho

Hearing super conflicting advice about battery charging levels

Thank you! I’ll set it to 55% then. I assume even if I average more than 20% a day, it’s not bad if the mean battery percentage is below 50% right? I guess the only other question is how much does 55% SoC affect accceleration since that does give me enjoyment

Hearing super conflicting advice about battery charging levels

Oh gotcha. Sounds like 65% is a sweet spot to use then! Maybe I can do 65 on weekdays and 90 on weekends

Hearing super conflicting advice about battery charging levels

Gotcha. I will set it to 50-65% for weekdays and higher like 80 or 90% for weekends. That’s probably a good balance between real world use and minimizing battery loss

Hearing super conflicting advice about battery charging levels

Hi, I’m a new TM3 LR AWD owner. I’ve been browsing these forums regarding what % to charge to. I can’t find a consensus. I see some people in the forum advocate to charge to 80-90%. Some advocate to maintain an average of 50%. And I’ve even seen some say the lowest SoC is best. I guess what...

How to clean vegan steering wheel?

Yeah I have the exact wipes from the second link

How to clean vegan steering wheel?

Gotcha so baby wipes would be fine then? They’re the ones from Costco and it doesn’t seem they have any disinfectant. They’re also more handy since I can keep them in the glovebox!

How to clean vegan steering wheel?

Was wondering what products to use and what to avoid for cleaning the steering wheel. A Google search said baby wipes might be a bad idea?

Can’t PPF the whole car, what is the bare minimum to get done?

I asked them the quote for full front and that and it would be over what I wanted to pay. Is full front still sufficient? I can also add mudddlaps

High rated shop but not in XPEL database?

Just called XPEL, apparently they aren’t listed online but XPEL does have them in the database. Weird
