A bit of an update. The car was in the SC for 2 weeks or so and they replaced a "front end wiring loom" and despite a catalogue of other issues while the car was there, relating to loan cars and new faults discovered when I collected the car, I have managed a little over a week or 70 miles or...

Absolutely sick of hearing this now (not from you). It's almost their answer to anything they can't fix and I'm sure it gets used as a fob off in many cases.

@MrBadger They are checking availability of parts, I had suggested that as they couldn't clean it (was a mobile visit as part of other things that were not right following 2 weeks in their workshop) that they replace the part. I wasnt hopeful that they would actually replace the part but at the...
