Fob... I thought I’d read it would be prone to replay, but... it sleeps after 5 minutes of being stationary. So no signal to replay overnight.

Any other recommendations for the tunnel? taking my m3 through in April. Booked into single deck on recognising reg plate. First time through in any vehicle. is there much opportunity to charge, or do you tend to get bumped onto an earlier train if you arrive earlier than booked? Chargers...

It did a 4 point park into a space today - and then finally gave up. It’s not quite there yet!

Isn’t the car always awake while charging? Genuine question... is assumed it would be, but I guess it might be able to charge whilst sleeping?

be careful. I’m assuming by hooking straight into the 12V supply you won’t have the same over-charge protection that saved my car from damage!

So then JPP - I took your good advice... and the charger melted! Was plugged in for about 15 seconds when I could smell something. Another 15 and I managed to pull the cables out the charger. Awful plastic burning smell. A small indent in the back of the unit where it’s melted. So... it...

Carrier is 15 kg. My gravel bike is carbon so only around 10 kg. So another 30kg to play with. And there's only me and the wife. If I'm taking my MTB - then that's definitely heavier - but likely just to be mine on the carrier.

That was as far as it would go without me sitting on it. It did lock into one of the bike carrier positions (i.e. grey button clicked out). Maybe it will loosen over time?

My guess this is due to the difference between a US ton and UK tonne A US ton is 907kg - which rounded a little bit is 910kg I'm betting the V5 figure is incorrectly calculated based on a towing capacity of "1 ton" ? Just a thought ?

Unplugged everything. Did a full reboot (thanks Vanilla). Plugged in the splitters using the correct ends for data vs just power Still not working :-(

Ok - my research agrees - one of the split cables for power only, one for power and data... will try as soon as I can escape the family and sit in the car for a bit.

Got my car last Wednesday. Had v9. Plugged my nomad wireless charger directly into both USB ports. Charged my iPhone 11 fine. Plugged in the supplier splitter cable, plugged half into Nomad, and USB memory stick into one of the spare ports... charged fine, recorded fine. Overnight it updated to...
