I have booked my model 3 in to a local detailer to change the front plate on my model 3 to stick on vinyl. Does anyone have any evidence that apart from looking better, it actually helps with efficiency?

I have found a solution to this. I had to sign into itunes on my pc after reading another thread on this. You have to upload your none purchased items to the cloud for them to play on all devices, including your car

Thanks for the update, that makes sense now, what a bummer!!! Maybe a future update might fix this. Will have to keep the none purchased stuff on my split usb drive for now and play via that. At least playing through the usb is more convenient that bluetooth.
