As a leasee I would like to drive the car for at least 2 more months (post 36) with the next gen seat. Is it unfair ? Given that I am going to get it ~ 6 months late.

No worries 2015 should be your golden year. You have no idea what it feels like to drive to a SC and see more car waiting than charging!!

Did anyone look at the updated dots for planned superchargers. SF Bay Area seems to be getting a handful. Much more everywhere than shown ever. Setting it for 2017 Model 3 ?

Took delivery today. Shocked to see no Next Gen seats. the DS did not know they weren't next gen till I pointed out. He went in to find out came back and asked me if front were next gen :tongue: I said None !! he went in again and came back to say they were not ready. I think he was fairly new...

Someone can create a spreadsheet and get a budget. Know some good pizza places around and can negotiate a discount. Last step would be to PayPal into an account. This will be tallied in the spreadsheet. Anonymous contributions welcome. Will make sure budget is fully spent. Use friends and family...

I live 15 miles from the factory and willing to volunteer weekend. Also work for PayPal. Taking delivery tomorrow during lunch.

I am local to the SF Bay area and this is my status. No calls so far on any compromise on Seats. Will keep you posted.

whether the next gen seat issue has been resolved & they are getting timely supply to meet the demands yet is still unclear. Mine went into Prod 12/6 and in prod as of date (day 9). Hopefully awaiting seats and no other major issues found in QA ! VIN 63587
