I haven't read all the comments, but my question would be Why are people short-selling Tesla when Elon has all the other successful businesses as a backup in case extra capital is needed?

Has anyone given any thought to a camper shell that could be mounted on it? I'd love to see this: The pop-up feature would allow it to be garaged; the window space is fantastic; it looks wide enough to sleep a six-footer; and it even has a similar side-view elevation to the Cybertruck...

Speaking for people who love RVs, I'm thinking preferably of a van with a pop-top that fits neatly into a garage and can go through a carwash, but is bigger inside than it looks outside because of slideouts. Sort of a tardis. A pickup with a shell would be almost as good, but it would sacrifice...

I read somewhere that Elon had a campaign (at SpaceX, I think) against overdoing abbreviations, even cute acronyms, unless approved by him. People were using abbreviations that took longer to say than the actual words, for one thing; but worse, a lot of people had to ask what the abbreviations...

I liked the idea of putting a camera where it could see what actually happened (in slo-mo). I also wonder why, with 16,000 similar accidents, no one has found a way to make it nearly impossible to make that error.

Considering all the above, the optimum would seem to be a white roof with R-60 insulation, and solar panels installed with an air gap between them and the roof. It should also be cheaper than the Tesla roof, a more proven (and more easily installed) technology, and with financing the Tesla roof...
