Wipers stop mid windshield on 2023.27.7 in heavy rain and no longer mandatory in FSD

Yes well when I got them manually moved back in. Pressing service mode. Didn’t move them out as it normally would so probably a bad motor. FYI.

Wipers stop mid windshield on 2023.27.7 in heavy rain and no longer mandatory in FSD

Yes in older builds, it had to be in auto only AFAIK, but now you just need it not to be off. And reporting to all... 1. The failure mode for Tesla wiper motors isn't total failure, according to my buddy Jay at Tesla Service, it is that they stop and require a hardware reset to get going and...

Wipers stop mid windshield on 2023.27.7 in heavy rain and no longer mandatory in FSD

Yes thanks I’ve learned a few things 1. This latest build under FSD doesn’t allow you turn off the wipers but you can switch from automatic. 2. I agree with you. We finally made it home today by the wiggle the wipers along bootstrap and then setting it on the fastest setting. We ran it all the...

Wipers stop mid windshield on 2023.27.7 in heavy rain and no longer mandatory in FSD

Help! This is a safety issue up here I. The Pacific Northwest. Has anyone else had this problem? What’s a fix: 1. I don’t know if it’s software or hardware but we have a 2018 M3P. With FSD 2023.27.7. Never had any wiper problems before. 2. Last week it started really raining. And pulling out I...

Any 99 Safety Scores receive FSD Beta yet?

Ok at 99 score with 100 miles plus since last Sunday. Curious how everyone thinks this works. Does it mean that there is a long queue of 99s and rollouts will continue so net, net just keep the score up and hope?

How Early is too Early to get the Y

Ordered. Replaces two cars that have both come off of lease. A model x (which we really really miss but want the plaid version) and a Chevy bolt (which we won’t miss at all). if we can get away with our remaining “tall” car for our elderly parents then will compare the model y and model x...

    Dumb Winter Range Question

To give u a little more courage. We just did 180 miles at 30 degrees. No snow but lots of rain With pirelli snow tires. The 20% snow penalty is real. Abpr is accurate. Main thing is to manage speed and if you can draft pickups. It really saves range if u get behind another car. Speed matters...

    40.2.1 rolling out?

Downloading now. I find that for blank release notes you have to wait for a bit. They seem to be silently downloading from the Tesla website and they didn’t have any visual indication of that. I’ve had to wait up to the next drive to see the release notes but YMMV

    Road Trip secret strategies

Reiterating both pieces of advice s as nd for the true power nerd: 1. Sign Up for Teslafi.com to record your consumption. 2. Use this to tune abetterrouteplanner.com. The key parameters are the weather and your consumption at 65mph. This varies for many people. Ours for instance is 245w/mi...

Anyone get a performance spoiler installed recently? Fitment issues resolved?

I’m not as picky as many of the experts on the board but our spoiler installed last month looks pretty good and appears solid.
