Doubt it, I think they’re merely intended as a token gesture that Tesla has to do to make the cars legal to sell, anticipating that 99+% of people will want the superior camera-based substitute instead.

Does it come up when you're driving into the sun? When traffic light detection is reduced due to direct sun it will flash red and gives an alert, maybe it does that regardless of whether you have FSD?
