    Slo-mo video of chattering wiper

It sounds like your wiper mechanism is worn and on the way out, check for the infamous hood scrape notch. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/windshield-wiper-arm-scraping-metal-under-the-hood.114594/

Stopped by South Mimms last night for a charge. The new dispenser bases are in, I counted 17 V3's it looked like. They can't come soon enough.

Window won't go up after decalibration

I don't know how Chris did it, I did it in situ. I tried removing both ends of the corrugated rubber tube the wiring runs through but couldn't pull either end far enough back to get to the broken wires. Instead I sliced open the rubber tube end to end with a craft knife, repaired the wires and...

Window won't go up after decalibration

I had exactly the same symptoms. Took the loom apart to find the thick black wire broken, the thick white wire broken and a thinner green wire almost broken. Spliced and soldered them all and it's working perfectly again (for now). Thanks for your post, wouldn't have found the issue without you.

Help! "Vehicle coolant is low - schedule service" alert

I've had this twice. Once I had the warning, got it in to Tesla and they replaced a 3 way diverter valve. 2nd time 18 months later I spotted a small puddle of coolant near the drivers side front wheel (RHD UK car), got it in to Tesla and it was the same issue, replaced again. Both not under...

Thinking of buying a used Model S

I'll also throw my hat it to say AP1 is great. Did 900 miles last weekend to France and had it on 80%+ of the time. Use the indicator to change lanes. It was rock solid, no phantom braking, nothing weird, it just worked. Have driven AP2 cars a few times and I just found some of the features...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

I was really looking forward to buying a used Plaid down the line. The Model S really does it all for me, first and foremost very fast (for me to enjoy), 3 good seats in the back for the near adult sized kids, loads of luggage space and with the towbar I can launch the boat with it. There aren't...

    [UK] Model S/X LHD Discussion

The battery is disappointingly small on the I5, I was expecting at least a 100kwh option. "Both i5 models feature an 81.2kWh lithium ion battery as standard. The eDrive40 offers a claimed range of between 296 and 362 miles, while the more powerful M60 xDrive delivers a claimed 283 to 321 miles...

Membury and Reading sprung to mind immediately so there must be many more not on that list.

    2016 P90DL - New Main Battery Time?

No idea, just have the nav running and then select energy instead of nav using the left thumbwheel. It could just be an MCU1 thing, other than that I don't know sorry.
