Are you still on the original battery pack with your 2012-2015 Model S?

Got everything working for SMT..... all this taken at 70% SOC Nominal full pack = 61.7kWh (very close to TeslaMate) CAC Imbalance = 3.40Ah CAC min = 206Ah CAC avg = 207Ah CAC max = 209Ah Cell Imbalance = 6.00mv I'll likely start tracking monthly/quarterly those values. Fingers crossed that...

Vendor BMS_u029 Scammers, Toolbox Is Onto You…

@Recell Do you do this for only BMS errors (ie u029) or will you do it for anyone that's just generally curious about the health/status of their pack. Additionally, wrt this comment: "Problem was that when we ran the full diagnostics, the CAC was pretty much even across the board and very much...

Are you still on the original battery pack with your 2012-2015 Model S?

Happy to see this thread. Have a "new to me" '15 70D (7/15 MFG date) that I purchased with <10K on the odometer in Jan '16. 119,945 miles with original battery pack and DUs. Car has taken us on some really awesome and long road trips in the U.S. Excluding tires and electricity my total out of...

Legacy Model S with MCU v1 Software/Firmware Version Thread

Bumping this thread to let folks know that today I had 2022.8.17 pushed to me. It's installed and I'll be taking it on a road trip Friday. Not expecting any great changes as x.17 I believe is the recall for US Recall 24V-051 (text size). Fun fact. It's been 7 months since any type of software...

    2018 75D Charging curve. Recent changes ?

On my 70D I've seen a bit of improvement that started with v2022.8.10.11. Graphs from Teslamate here: Legacy Model S with MCU v1 Software/Firmware Version Thread

Supercharger - Worthington, MN - Oxford Street

Soon us "classic" owners will have the 120kW sites all to ourselves again. :-)

Supercharger - Worthington, MN - Oxford Street

Either way... it'll be nice to have the additional option. The current v2 SC is perfect for my 'classic' 70D, but not so much for my LR MY.

Supercharger - Worthington, MN - Oxford Street

Moderator note: The first 7 posts in this thread were moved from a different thread. Seems Worthington, MN is getting an upgrade.

Hankook new iON tire, an "EV" tire (not the same as Kinergy GT)

If this question was directed at me... New IONs are AS Old tires were Pirelli Cinturanto P7 AS.

    Supercharger - Minocqua, WI

My family did it in our 70D last year (didn't own the Y yet). Took some planning and always trickle charged when we were at our lodging (if it didn't have L2), but made it work. Plugshare and a CCS adaptor will be your friend. Good suggestions here.

Legacy Model S with MCU v1 Software/Firmware Version Thread

Bumping this thread to let folks know that last Thursday I had 2022.8.16 pushed to me. On Sunday had this charge curve (V2 stall sharing power at the start). After sharing of power was done the curve did what I've come to expect.

Hankook new iON tire, an "EV" tire (not the same as Kinergy GT)

Didn't keep that, but here are some snips from Teslamate on drives with an average mean of at least 55MPH this calendar year going back to late April (further back is worthless because of winter in MN). None of these are a duplicate route. New tires: Old tires: The route that I thought...
