MYLR 2023 Pin Holes of Rust

probably just rail dust or oxidized metal debris from the road. Is your car white? Just use some elbow grease or get some iron x spray to remove.

4 Wheel drive on Model Y?

Just to add, once the issue is fixed your Y will perform great in snow. Here in Chicago we got a lot of sleet/snow and ice this past week and it's now -10 degrees. Averaging roughly 100miles a day and the Y is handling it all. Car is lowered and running all season tires and the only issue is...

4 Wheel drive on Model Y?

You have a bad ABS Wheel Speed Sensor. Most likely one of your front sensors. Theres a cable/sensor that runs from the wheel up the strut then turns hard 90 degrees towards the front of the car. Most likely it's pinched or pulled which causes these errors. I've had it happen to me in good...

    Cold Weather Chicago?

Very few teslas? Come to the northern burbs where model Y's have taken over minivans, highlanders, and pilots. No issues with the Y in chicago weather, I actually prefer it over my old highlander. I believe we had a pretty good cold spell (-10) last year and the Y was less efficient maybe...

Tire Valve Leaks Air when caps are off

If you take a cap off can you see the valve core? I recall getting a set of TPMS once and 1 did not have a valve core installed. Air should not leak when you remove the caps

My Model Y smells, does it happen to yours?

Agreed I don’t think this video helps 2022 and later Y owners.

Can anyone verify if they have this issue with left rear seat ? It's a 5 seater by the way.

mine is sort of like this, basically the right seat doesn't fully lock at the furthest laid back setting. Tesla said thats the way it should be but couldn't answer me when I showed him the left side reclined and locked a little further back. i gave up and just set them both at what I think is...

    Best Mud Flaps Head-to-Head comparison?

Unpopular opinion but i had RA and didn't care for the look. Too big and boxy and really hid the rear wheel from behind which took away from the aggressive look of my tires. I'm sure they are the most effective for this reason though. $180 for mudflaps? I went back to my stock mud flaps...

Car vibrates after installing aftermarket wheels and tires

were the rotor bolts removed? Some wheels do not clear the stock bolt and needs to be removed in order for wheels to sit flush to rotor: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/rotor-retention-bolt-aftermarket-wheel-install.187867/

Y 21' Performance Wheel making weird sound.

really? Thought it was pretty common. I think it looks better. Gives the big wheel some depth, stock looked too flat for me. Here’s a zoomed picture, sorry don’t have anything else since I swapped wheels and they’re currently in storage.

Y 21' Performance Wheel making weird sound.

Not for me. I never liked the look of the cap and removed it the first day. I used lug covers and still had the squishy noise. Finally went away a couple months ago but then I switched rims. Good luck
