    "Worn out" wheel speed sensors

The sensor wires were in perfect condition, no wear, chafing, or mouse bites. I inspected them carefully before taking the car in, and Redwood Motorsports did too as a double check. It was not the wires, something else was the problem, the wires are carefully routed and secured to keep them from...

    "Worn out" wheel speed sensors

My M3P at 13k miles started throwing multiple error codes whenever I hit a significant bump, or if I brake hard or corner aggressively. I got errors Stability control disabled, Steering assist disabled, Auto pilot disabled, traction control disabled, regenerative braking disabled, ABS disabled...

Light bar upgrade in Aus: suggestions & where have you mounted your switch?

Complying with the regulation that the lights can only be switched on when the high beam is on is going to be tricky. There are no separate high beam lights and the high beam indicator is virtual on the screen. Perhaps a circuit tapped into the headlight driver to detect the drive current or...

Late model long range 3 rwd with phantom front motor?

It is easy to tell. Lay on the floor and look at the back of one front wheel. If there is a driveshaft, then you have a front motor.

Sway Bars, End Links, and Rear Control Arms Installation & Impression

Unplugged sent me a new tighter set of front bar bushings and my clunk is gone! Now I can really enjoy the car again.

Just a note that WD-40 is not a lubricant, it is a solvent with water dispersing (WD, get it?) properties. It has some lubricant properties but evaporates in a day or so. If you need lubrication, use something that doesn't evaporate.

My stomping grounds include Page Mill Road, Steven's Canyon, Tunitas Creek, Kings Mountain, and highways 9, 35, and 84. My driveway is off highway 84 near La Honda. It's a great region for suspension development.

I got mine installed last week and they are brilliant. I took some of my favorite twisties on the way home, the car is well behaved through the bumpy corners, passes my speed bump test, and pulled 1.3 g's in a high speed sweeper on the factory tires. It is a little stiffer but nothing...

Sway Bars, End Links, and Rear Control Arms Installation & Impression

The preload I am referring to is of the bushings side to side to eliminate the end play which may be the source of the noises I hear.

Sway Bars, End Links, and Rear Control Arms Installation & Impression

Mine makes clunking noises too and I have been obsessed with figuring it out. I thought I might have damaged an end link so replaced both fronts, no help. My installation had significant end play and I was going to fabricate a spacer but found the bushing brackets have enough slop that I could...

Alignment specs for 2020 LR AWD?

Camber is not adjustable except for tiny amounts. If your camber is out enough for you to see it by eye, take it to the SC, something is wrong.
