High Voltage Isolation issue on 2022 Model X Plaid

Follow up on this issue: The car as taken to Tesla Service Center. They had to replace the Rear Right Inverter and high voltage cables. Insulation is normal now. The car is working now, waiting to get it back.

Hi, I just recently had an issue on my 2022 Model X Plaid and I'm looking for some help from people more experienced on debugging this kind of complex issue. Last saturday I started a drive around the city, and after parking and putting on reverse, I got the following errors: BMS_a170 and...

Have you done the "HomeLink Retrofit" before the Test? The retrofit button is supposed to enable the module. You shouldn't need a software reinstall....

Model X, error message "Plan your next charge"

I'm getting daily messages from other Tesla owners here in Brazil, and this is widespread to everyone with the most recent 2023 updates!!! This is very anoying! Has anyone found a solution yet? Are there any tricks to create a charger in the car map so it thinks it has a charger around?

Put your own SIM, will be Premium connectivity?

Actually, I also want to figure that out… You would need to root into your MCU to upload new map files. It can be done but hard to do.

What does a Tesla do when changing countries?

Sorry, no known fixed to that. Also, it almost never reads a sign. Since stop sign and traffic lights Autopilot doesn’t work here in Brazil, it’s not a big deal

Put your own SIM, will be Premium connectivity?

Hey @AlexUA , we are in the same situation on Brazil: no maps, no heat up before charging, etc. Do you know if someone in Ukraine was ever successful in solving the map navigation issue, doing something like changing the car map file? Just wondering if there’s a workaround for that

    36.X and Steering Wheel Weight?

There are two ways to stop it from disengaging: 1) Switch the weight side every 10 minutes 2) Add/Remove extra weight to the same side every 10 minutes

    36.X and Steering Wheel Weight?

I have been noticing Autopilot disengagement without notice due to weight on wheel since 2022.36 as well. I noticed that after 12-14 minutes of weight use the car will disengage without notice. Here is a video of that happening; Video It disengaged at 18:15 on the clock. On that day I stated...

Anyone tried to DIY install homelink?

Great news! The "missing link" really was finding out that you need that "retrofit" command before the "test". The documentation don't mention that, and we found that out using the toolbox on a "trial and error" basis. I'm glad it worked with Service Mode only! I suspected that, but it's...
