So is the consensus is this requires a $250-$300 hardware replacement at service center to fix? Just got a 2018 M3P and it started the day after I took delivery, using the J1772 adapter with my L2 home charger. 40 deg F, no precipitation.

I really want to hear their explanation for how a co-signed agreement with deposits paid that explains all the terms around purchase, installation, warranty, etc. is not a contract.

This is why I ‘got out of Dodge’ because they appear to just be stringing most people along. Signing agreements, then taking 2 years, then jacking the price, then saying they’d honor original price (after heavy backlash, press, arbitration), now changing terms again…. I really do hope the best...

100% this. They did stem the bleeding a bit by getting a bunch of us who were sick of their antics to cancel, and they’re now going to save more on legal fees by stopping now.

That’s great for those that could wait. Our 20 year old roof needed replaced pronto…after them doing nothing for a year. Since dropping Tesla, we now have a 50-year (pro-rate) warranty roof, traditional solar, no worry over long-term warranty/support and have already banked $350 in solar...

. Do you have to sign a new contract? The terms in the newer contracts give them even more ways to back out or up-charge. I’m glad it worked out for you. That said, too little too late for a lot of us. Whether they meant to or not, the arbitration’s and class actions are going to clear up Bait...

For all now re-considering, how do you reconcile trusting any other words in their agreement, warranty, etc? That’s where I ended up.
