Can my Dashcam get me out of this speeding ticket?

Just out of curiosity, who is the "they" and "themself" that you are referring to in the last sentence? Aren't we still just talking about WilliamG or is there another group of people who have the same issue?

Trade in model 3 sr+ for model 3 lr awd

My wife and I have gone on a few long weekend trips in the SR+ and have never really had any issues. For much longer road trips (cross country), which we also enjoy, we take my VW GTI. It has a 400-mile range on a single tank of gas at 75 mph and can fill up anywhere in minutes. Although the LR...

    Scratched my Front Bumper

You will need to have the PPF removed, the panel sanded, repainted and then have a new PPF applied. Could you please clarify something? (and I want to ask in the kindest way possible because I have seen this type of question before and I just cannot understand the logic). Why do you think...

If Tesla is a safer car, why the insurance cost does not reflect that?

Tesla is a safer car, meaning safer for the occupants. The insurance quote is primarily based on the high cost to repair the car after the accident has occurred.

Trade in model 3 sr+ for model 3 lr awd

You are not alone...I absolutely love my SR+ After owning mine for a month, I have never had any range anxiety whatsoever and the power delivery is smooth and quick. I wake up every morning with a full "tank" and the efficiency is amazing. I am averaging 198 KWh for the life of the car. I have...

Taptes Gen 2 charge pad arrived

Amazon is also clearing out the Gen 1 Taptes pads. I grabbed one on Tuesday with same day shipping for $36. I don't have a use for landscape mode and the Gen 1 appears to be working great so far.

    Zero Inventory

There are currently 7 cars in Denver metro area. A couple SR+, a couple Performance and the rest LR AWD.

    Jeda Charger Issues

Dang...that sucks. I placed my order over a week ago and I had heard they take a long time to ship, but I was hoping the product would be worth the wait, based on the prior reviews I have read. I may try to cancel and just pick up a Nomad or another cheaper alternative from Amazon.

    Removing “Dual Motor” Badge?

I thought I was the only one that hated the Dual Motor badge. I have an SR+ (so it was obviously never an issue for me) but when the badges started showing up around town, I always felt like it really threw off the beautiful minimalist symmetry of the car. If I had a dual motor, I would remove...

Tesla service - still abysmal "the mailbox is full"

Your experience sounds frustrating and I would be pretty upset about the way you are being treated also. However, you knew when you purchased the car that Tesla was a smaller company with a very limited history and it would be likely to experience significant growing pains as it scales up its...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

In Denver, CO here...I handed the Delivery Specialist a personal check at the delivery appointment after inspecting the car. Easy peasy.

Have you been able to get through on Tesla chat or phone support?

Strange...during the purchase process I needed to contact customer support through chat on four separate occasions and never once waited more than 3-4 mins to connect. Everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful.

    Front Number Plate Location

I bought one of the OttoSteer magnetic license plate frames. It allows me the flexibility to remove it quickly and easily to wash the car and to photograph the car. It is nice because it mounts to the lower grill. I was very pleasantly surprised that the Tesla delivery center put the front...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I have experienced this too. My local delivery center tends to get a lot of inventory cars passing through. I saw on pop up, called my insurance company to get a quote and when I refreshed the page 20 minutes later, it was gone. The deposit is refundable, so my advice is...if you see a car that...

PPF vs Ceramic coating - help a noob out

PPF on the full car is much more expensive than ceramic also. Ceramic is usually about $800-$1K. A good PPF on the entire car could easily exceed $4-5K depending on which film is chosen.
