    Performance Waiting Room

Yikes. The exact same thing happened to me. I found a P3D in Burlingame which would have qualified for free shipping to San Diego, but my SA thought I said Bellevue in Seattle. This actually ended up working out for me though, the Burlingame car was a demo car with 1k miles on it but the...

    Performance Waiting Room

Didn't think I would get approved a second time around (extenuating circumstances). Truly isn't an issue, black was my original choice until the white became free. Like I said, my wife was a huge fan of the black even after it became a $750 up charge so we aren't disappointed. Would have loved...

    Performance Waiting Room

I'm in San Diego as well. Ordered white/white P3D on 8/13. Never received the delay text, but the fact that people who had ordered weeks before I did were getting those texts, I opted to get an inventory Black/White P3D instead, found it in Seattle. The wife wanted a dark exterior anyway so it's...

    Performance Waiting Room

I had originally ordered a white/white performance, but I got spooked when everyone received those text messages. We just recently moved into a new place and had to furnish it so our Amex reported that balance and dropped our score by 30 points. Out of fear that we wouldn't get approved a second...

    Delivery Estimates

I'm not asking when I'll receive mine, like I said, it's a supplement to my wife and I's two cars we already own. Mostly a curiosity as to where the disparity in estimate and delivery comes from.

    Delivery Estimates

I ordered a P3D White/White on 8/13. The car will come when it comes, I’m in no real rush, luckily it will be our third car. This isn’t a complaint about the time it takes to deliver as much as an observation about delivery times. I’m curious why they even bother with the 2-3 week estimate? Do...

    First Tesla Order

Was it an inventory model or did they build it?

    Lease Approval?

I opted out of FSD. I figure that Tesla is generally behind or slightly behind on delivery of tech advances that they promise. But outside of that, I don't want a $6k add-on that legislation will need to catch up to. It also only truly works on the highway. I loved it when I test drove the car...

    Lease Approval?

Can't say for sure. I have heard that in some instances of those being self-employed that banks have asked for two years of tax returns to verify income. They want to see that your business has been stable.

    Lease Approval?

Yeah I had no issues getting approved for a loan and the P3D was $30k more expensive than my Grand Cherokee lease. So I don't see how you'd have an issue given your auto history. Good luck! What specs are you looking at?

    Lease Approval?

I haven't yet seen if Tesla pulls FICO Auto 9 for leases, if they do, then your credit score is probably much higher. My FICO score is 730-740 Experian but my FA9 was 780-790. As long as you've had a lease that costs at or near the same, you should be fine. No different than getting any other car.

    Performance Waiting Room

I did what Brnn suggested. I calculated my final out the door price and received a loan based on that, they didn't need the VIN to approve it. But from what I understand, you don't need insurance until the day you take delivery of the car so you have time to situate that. I've seen that you can...

    Performance Waiting Room

I don't want to misinform so take this with a grain of salt, but my SR told me that I wouldn't enter the queue until everything was taken care of and checked off the list. Could definitely be wrong! I would call your SR and see what they tell you about that.

White on White Interior Waiting is pain

Did you find a white/white in inventory?

Having trouble getting a loan due to short credit history

If $57k+ really only is a few months salary for you, then I’d suggest saving 20% of the purchase price as a down payment. Most CUs want to see at least 10% if you have no credit history (like someone said before, they want to reduce risk), but I’m confused, you say this is your second P3D? Did...
