    it takes time ! Today outside temps was 1c , preconditionning started 50min before arrival at 25c battery tempeature, arrival temp was 35c and during chaging battery heated upto 55c ! When battery is below 20c supercharging is limited to 30kw which is really slow

    Heating in cold weather and poor insulation ?

    Here is a little update ( Temps is below -10c) On highway (70 km/h) heater M3 can t keep up with cold. However in city driving (stop and go) I dont have any issue ! I dont know if it is an insulation issue or a battery output problem. Preconditioning only delays the issue.

    My 2020 model cant heat enough when weather is cold: -14c wind 50km/h heating maxed. My M3 uses 280mwh/km !!!! Dry weather but cloudy. The heater works but I have the impression that I lose heat because of poor insulation. are there some critical places where a little foam insulation can help ?

    Odd battery behavior

    Battery cooling or heating ? or the 12v is weak ? What is the outside temperarure ? it can take a little time before my Tesla gets into deep sleep. For instance the outside temperature is 3c and Stator at 46c, my Tesla will cool the stator , result : 2% lost before going into deep sleep.

    Is my 12 volt dying? Or other range issue?

    Your Tesla is likely not deep sleeping. Can be sentry mod, cold weather. 12v battery is charged from main battery and can use 400wh. 12v charging is P1. This my main source of basic consumption on my SR+. Have your 12v checked at a local garage it takes 1min.
