Nope I was one week away from taking my model Y delivery before cancelling. I had a vested interest in seeing the quality improve to my own benefit but I have since determined it's beyond reconciling their quality problems and no longer plan on reordering

Robots from what I've seen, and there are instances of Blue ones that show the same poor flake lay down patterns on the driver's door specifically suggesting their process for painting is consistent (and consistently bad) edit: These are two different cars. Notice the front door...

I believe the usual sized weights are .25 oz so 3.5 would be taking 14...that does seem quite excessive.

It's a problem on every white one I've seen and it has to do primarily with the angle with the pearl paint. I would not at all be surprised, given Tesla's absolute ineptitude with regards to paint, to learn they painted panels and door separately, oriented in different directions so the flake...

Totally worth the mismatched colored panels, dust in the paint, missing paint, gaps galore, latches that won't close, windows that scratch trim, Bluetooth that doesn't work, seats that fall apart, hooks that don't retract, dents on body panels, and range that doesn't even come close to expectations!

That's terrible. This is entirely too much to even consider reordering the Y at this point for me. I'm not going to keep waiting around for them to get their act together. Hopefully the cybertruck won't also be a dud.

I haven't seen a white one yet that looked like all the panels matched. I'm skeptical at this point that doors were painted at the same time as the body.

Nor homelink, nor autodimming mirrors, nor blind spot warnings in the mirrors, nor ventilated seats, nor a heads up display, nor fit and finish. But hey, you can make fart noises!

I'm sleeping a whole lot better about my Model Y cancellation these days. Sorry about your issues.
