    Car wash mode fail

2023 MX - I agree, carwash mode is a stresser. As I am being guided into the wash my window is down to tell the attendant 'no tire shine', then I frantically roll the window up, enter carwash mode, then touch brake to enter free roll. 9 out of ten times the machine rolls my car before I get it...

    Visor cracked windshield

As mentioned, I had this and did not use the shade attachment pieces. I just have it held in place on its own. I agree it seems to be a design issue of the car, not the shade causing it. My 2020X never had an issue, not sure if there was any redesign on the windshield/shade/pillar for the...

Model X door no longer open fully automatically without USS (ultra-sonic sensors)?

My 2020X had sensors on the front doors and it showed them working on the display.

How well does phone key work compared to the old key fob?

Agree on the non-presenting doors. It feels like it fights me to open. lol

How well does phone key work compared to the old key fob?

2025 X; broken arm phone with app running on pocket, card in pocket - forgot FOB. Approached car, unlocked car,did not self present door. ughhhh I should always carry FOB!!!!

How well does phone key work compared to the old key fob?

Very timely on a few fronts. I found the phone did exactly as your describe and become very inconvenient to use. I purchased a fob, and found it more convenient but with much less range and walk away lock not always working. Although, I love having the fob again, I do use the phone when I...

    Windshield Washer fluid hose disconnected.

Thanks, had windshield replaced at SC and now same issue with fluid under the car when hitting washer function. Will work this and suspect they forgot to connect.

Is Tesla build quality better or worse then competition EV manufactures? And is it significantly better now than it was 2/3/10 years ago?

I have had 2 Model X Teslas, 2020 and 2023. The 2020 was perfect on delivery and had very little issues. The most prevalent was the half-shaft issue that caused thumping on acceleration and front door seal issues (falling off) allwell documented issues with Tesla. I had the car in the shop...

    Visor cracked windshield

Tesla replaced my 2023 Model X Windshield, I had noted heavy scratches at that same area (drivers side near visor pivot) and took pictures when I pick it up new. It took 2 weeks due to a defective part they ordered (cracked) and storm disruptions to get the second replacement new windshield...

First Impressions 2023 Model X LR

I took delivery of my 2023 X LR, trading in my 2020 X LR+. Love the refresh, agree on wheel buttons becoming use to, except the horn. I opted for the 22" wheels versus the 20" on the 2020 X. Lost 30 miles of range, but make the car look and ride much better. I do not see a difference in the...

    Yoke vs Steering

I have the Yoke on my 2023 X and actually like it. No issues with warnings on FSD, as I keep my hand on one side for weight. Thanks you for correcting that it is not a squeeze but turning pressure. I also fell victim to the squeeze on my 2020 X before realizing it was turning force.

    Visor cracked windshield

Not sure. My 2020 X never had issues with windshield, I also had a sunscreen. I picked up my new 2023 X Sept. When I took delivery I noted scratches on the windshield and pillar paint. They told me to put in service request for paint. I put in request and they told me I would need to bring...
