My dashcam worked today. Didn’t the other day. It’s random. Sometimes broken AM, works PM.

That would make too much sense. They just said that there were faults for too much power draw and it came from the front USB port.

They didn't fix anything. They said the SSD was drawing too much power (I've used it for almost 4 years). It started working, and now it is back to being broken every now and then. They said only the Tesla USB stick is suggested lol.

This morning the red X went away. It might be working. I don't know why, nothing was updated. I have an appointment next Friday to get it looked at.

I recently updated to 2024.8.4 on my 2020 Model Y with front USB port. I have used the same Samsung SSD T5 for years. I noticed that the TeslaCam icon showed a red X so I unplugged and deleted the files via my laptop. Now, when I plug the USB back in nothing happens. The red X remains and under...
