M3P: Which Tires wear faster- Front of Rear?

Just to chime in, my 2021 M3P's rear Pzeros were nearing the wear bar at a touch over 11k miles, more wear towards the inner thread. Stock suspension. Never rotated them bc I'm lazy. Fronts were still looking good. FYI, I mash the pedal frequently or when traffic conditions allow.

Hankook new iON tire, an "EV" tire (not the same as Kinergy GT)

I also had these installed just last week, all 4 corners, due to a premature blowout on my front driver's side tire. OEM size, 235 35 20. My rears were getting near done at 11k miles but my front (Pzero OEMs) were still good, until the sidewall blowout due to a massive pothole I was unable to...

Road trip a Brand New M3P?

also do your best to avoid any and all potholes along the way. our OEM wheel and tire combo isn't very forgiving.

Rear Windshield [tint], 2 piece or 1 piece?

find a place that will do it in one piece. my rear roof/back is 5% ceramic. looks just right imo.

    Window Tint Too Expensive

yes, I did get ceramic. we actually had my wife's MYP done at a different place bc it was cheaper and they also had great yelp reviews. give Concours Auto Spa in Torrance and see what they can do for you. their quote might be close to your $1380 quote.

What Did You Do With Your 20” Uberturbines?

if you have Facebook, a lot of people sell their things through various FB groups after you join. that's how I sold things off my previous car, like piggyback tune, exhaust, intake, etc.

Black Model 3s. Tint or no tint? Anybody have pics?

to each their own. love the murdered out look; even blacked out the rear side reflector and the little reflectors on the bumper. 15% sides, 5% rear and roof and 60% front windshield. only deal drugs on the weekends.

Screw in Tire, Replace or Take a Chance?

no tire shop I've been to (or dealer for that matter) would patch a tire with a hole that close to the sidewall, assuming the object went all the way through. personally, I would have a new tire ordered and/or take it to a shop that has the tire you want, ask them to remove the object and see...

    Opinions/Experience with Black MYP

I'm on my 4th black car with my Model 3P. we've had my wife's 2022 MYP for about a week now, also in black. black will show off swirls and paint imperfections better than say a silver car. but a clean black car looks a 1000X better than a clean silver car. I'm partial to black so I'm ok with...

M3P: Why So Little Regenerative Braking?

I have a 2021 3P and we just received my wife's 2022 MYP, which I've been driving all weekend and it seems like there's a slight stronger regen in the MYP vs. my car when we have both cars full with my family of 4. I drive both in "creep" mode (which is my preferred choice). I though maybe...

Average age of Model 3 owners?

48 this month and as of today, we now have 2 performance model Teslas in our garage. (wife's MYP just delivered this morning!) with kids, mortage payment and an investment property, owning 2 brand new Teslas are plenty.

    M3P or MYP?

if you don't necessarily need another SUV/utility vehicle, I'd go with the Model 3P. my wife is coming off a Lexus RX350 fsport and is having her MYP delivered this Thurs. my previous car was a Macan S, which was nice for utility purposes but now that my boys don't need big car seats, I knew I...

The quest for wider wheels and tires, 295, 305 and beyond...

will the Michelin PS4S or PSS in 265 30 20 on the OEM Ubers fit with no issues on stock suspension? overall diameter will be 26.3.

Buying a model 3 in 2022. Is it worth it?

inflation. everything costs more. food, housing, raw materials, etc. at least w/ Tesla you buy direct. pretty much every dealer for every other car manufacturer is charging markups or dealer add ons. still think w/ the price increases, Tesla offers a fair deal.
