You are right, however, my gripe is more with the withholding of features from the US market. I want the best Y available at the time of purchase. Clearly there is a better vehicle than the one I am being sold. Tesla’s silence, where it is their right, is a little out of character for a car...

That’s a fair question. I would say you are probably partially correct.

The MIC Model Y is definitely a notch above the MIU Model Y. Then we have the gorgeous update to the Model S and X. The US Model Y now looks dated. Seems like Tesla is communicating to US customers, “we don’t care about you.” The US Model Y customer has really delivered for Tesla. Why not...

I had a similar phone call from a Tesla rep offering me a demo MYP. This time the car had 4000 plus miles on it. This is my first EV and I just couldn’t understand how nonchalantly the Tesla rep was on the phone. I felt like he was doing me a favor. This to me is a huge hole in Tesla’s armor...
