Air cabin filter replacement 2019 model 3 Vancouver - do yourself or use Tesla mobile service?

I didn't know anything about the service to "re-seal front upper control arm ball joints" until it appeared on the $80 invoice estimate from Tesla for the cabin filter replacement. I am not sure if it is a recall service but I think it is probably more a technical service bulletin. I looked up...

Air cabin filter replacement 2019 model 3 Vancouver - do yourself or use Tesla mobile service?

I just booked a mobile service appointment for November 3 with Tesla and confirmed the price for the air cabin filter change. The price was $46 for the filter and $27 for the service call to my house. The service tech will also perform a recall service to "re-seal front upper control arm ball...

Air cabin filter replacement 2019 model 3 Vancouver - do yourself or use Tesla mobile service?

Haha I am all thumbs so I know what you mean. With my luck I would try to install the cabin filter myself and break a part and have a repair that costs several hundred dollars :) Thanks for the words of advice from someone who has tried this on their own! Richard

Air cabin filter replacement 2019 model 3 Vancouver - do yourself or use Tesla mobile service?

Our 2 year old 2019 model 3 in Vancouver seems to be have recurring bad smells in the cabin so I assume it is time to change the air cabin filter. Looking at some youtube videos it seems to be a difficult process to change the air filter. Has anyone used the mobile Tesla service to change...

    TOFINO - TESLA CHARGING OPTIONS?

I have had our model 3 now for 9 months and have always just charged at home on my Tesla charger. I only used the Tesla supercharger for the very first time 3 weeks ago and I am pretty green to the other charger options . I have attached a photo of the charger adapter that I used to charge at...

    TOFINO - TESLA CHARGING OPTIONS?

We are staying at Tofino in B.C. this weekend at a hotel that doesn’t have a Tesla charger and wondering what our best Tesla charging options are? This is our first time travelling with our 2019 Tesla model 3 performance and we are not really up to speed on the best charging options on our trip...

    Replika R-187 or R-171

Here are my space grey 19" Replika 241 wheels with my Michelin XICE 3 winter tires naked with no Tesla caps.....

Which winter tires are you biying?

I just had my Michelin XICE2 245/40/19 winter tires installed on 19" Replika 241 wheels today on my performance model 3. I think the 19" Replika 241 wheels look pretty good on the model 3! Man though the Michelin XICE 2 tires felt pretty soft and squishy in today's warm and sunny 8 degree...

Replacing summer wheels/tires- any special instructions for tire shop?

Thanks for the feedback from everyone! I am bringing my Tesla model 3 to my local Acura dealership to take off my summer wheels and tires and put on my winter tires and wheels. They have about 8 hoist lifts for the vehicles that they work on so I assume they will use a big hoist lift to change...

I am replacing my summer tires and wheels on my Tesla model 3 performance model with newly purchased mounted 19" winter Replika 241 wheels and Michelin XICE 3 winter tires. I have always changed over my winter and summer tires and wheels for my previous Acura's and BMW's at my local Acura...

    Installing 240v Outlet

Not sure if it even matters to some people but to me the Tesla wall charger looks damn sexy in a garage! I would gladly pay a few extra hundred dollars to have that in my garage just for the looks alone never mind the faster charging speed at 48 amps....

    Installing 240v Outlet

I had an electrician install my 240 volt Tesla wall charger at my house in Vancouver 2 weeks ago. The electrician used a 60 amp breaker so the current running hard wired to my car from the Tesla charger is 48 amps and I charge at 66 km per hour with the Tesla wall charger. A huge improvement...
